Available Positions

Operations Manager

Oversees the daily operations by working closely will all staff, especially those who are working on the floor. Maintaining production levels and trouble shooting where needed to continually meet the production schedule. Oversees the continual and timely maintenance of all equipment, including forklifts compressors, ventilation and filtration equipment plus overall facility maintenance. Responsible for the team, the project schedule and maintaining the project scope. Responsible for providing status report to the executive team periodically and escalating issues as needed. Identify ongoing training needs and arrange for same with the President.

Logistics

  • Responsible to follow all safety protocols as set out by Worksafe BC.
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing necessary logistics software.
  • Responsible for managing 3rd Party Logistics company relationships.
  • Responsible for managing the inbound shipments machinery and materials as well as outbound shipments to customers.

Millwright / Engineer

  • Responsible to follow all safety protocols as set out by Worksafe BC.
  • Responsible for daily inspections and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and, if needed troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment.
  • Responsible for understanding how every piece of machinery operates in the plant.
  • Responsible for planning and implementing a preventative maintenance program.
  • Responsible for replacing or repairing defects in an expedient manner.

Shift Supervisors

  • Responsible to follow all safety protocols as set out by Worksafe BC.
  • Responsible to keep production running at an expected rate.

Quality Control Technician

  • Responsible for testing raw materials coming in
  • Responsible for interpreting the data from the testing machines
  • Responsible for entering data into the system and cataloging

Forklift Operators

  • Responsible to follow all safety protocols as set out by Worksafe BC.
  • Will be responsible for ensuring that all materials needed for the manufacturing process are always in their right location and having adequate supplies, so as not to cause manufacturing delays.
  • Ensure that the offloading and loading of all deliveries are done in a safe and expedient manner.
  • Responsible to take full pallets from the packing line to the warehouse to place into inventory

Production Operators

  • Responsible to follow all safety protocols as set out by Worksafe BC.
  • Responsible for watching their respective machine to ensure proper operation at full efficiency.
  • Identify any issues regarding to non-conforming automatic stacking of masks
  • Responsible for pulling masks off the line that may not be constructed properly by the machine
  • Loading raw materials onto the machine when they are fully consumed.

Line Operators

  • Responsibilities could include packaging, sorting, taping up boxes and other line operating tasks.

Warehouse / Inventory

  • Responsible to follow all safety protocols as set out by Worksafe BC.
  • Responsible to ensure that incoming deliveries of raw materials are scanned into the internal software system and placed into inventory storage in the proper location.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the Supply Chain Manager once inventory levels reach a certain reorder threshold.
  • Complete regular inventory checks to ensure that physical inventory matches inventory in the software system.
  • The ideal candidate would have their forklift ticket.
  • If the candidate does have their forklift ticket, this individual would unload incoming trailers of raw materials and placed into storage on the racks.
  • Ensure that materials are pulled and ready to be picked up by the runners during material changeover on the mask making machines.

Runners

  • Responsible to follow all safety protocols as set out by Worksafe BC.
  • Responsible for ensuring all stations have the supplies they need including maintaining stock levels of raw materials by each machine.
  • keeping the carton erector stocked with flattened cartons, ample retail flat boxes at the box packing station and enough pallets by the pallet wrapper.
